UMass Boston aims to unite the community through Desi culture and events and create a family environment for desi students away from home. The university wants to encourage the university's students to see different cultures and experience the traditional events. This association's main aim is to unite desi students, make new friends, and spread the culture on-campus.

The University of Massachusetts Boston MPA programme is ranked at #70 in the nation in 2024 U.S. News & World Report ranking. The university maintains strict NASPAA accreditation. To apply for this course, the applicants should have an UG degree and they must have a 2.75 GPA. Additionally, documents that are required include SOP, official transcripts, GRE (optional), three LORs, resume, etc. An English language proficiency score is also required.

Graduate applicants thinking to apply to UMass at Boston should have a 2.75 GPA in all Undergraduate work. A Bachelor's degree is required to apply to this university. For UG applicants, as such, the minimum GPA has not been mentioned. A few of the documents required to apply are:

International students at UMass Boston are eligible for part-time work. But, they cannot work more than 20 hours per week while the classes are in session or 40 hours per week when the classes are not going on. But, do refer to the conditions to know more details. The job listings are posted online through the Handshake website. A few of the popular part-time jobs in the U.S. are Barista, Teaching Assistant, Tour Guide, Research Study Assistant, etc.

According to Fall 2024 facts, the total number of students enrolled at UMass Boston is 15,575. Out of this, the total number of UG students is 12,000+ and PG students are 3,400+. Out-of-state UG student enrollment is 1,800+, and PG student enrollment is 1,400+. A few other facts are given below:

The university is recognised for its innovative research. Also, it offers a diverse student population and a great learning environment. The university offers quality education that is affordable. The tuition fee for UG students is around USD 36,000 for one academic year (Around INR 30.3 Lakh).
