The International Amigo Scholarship is offered to the international students at the University of New Mexico granting them to pay the same amount of tuition fee as the residents of New Mexico. Below are the qualifications an applicant must have before applying for the University of New Mexico:
Applicants must be full-time students to avail of the scholarships.
Prospective students must have a good GPA, a minimum of 3.5 GPA on a US scale in upper secondary/ high school coursework
OR
3.0 GPA on a US scale AND either an ACT score of 26 or SAT score of 1240
Non-immigrant visa status (Preference is given to student visa holders- F1 or J1.)
