For a year, UNM tuition fee for UG students is INR 25 L – INR 32 L and for PG students, it is USD 18.1 L – INR 34 L. The hostel fees at UNM can be around INR 9.25 L – INR 11 L. Course-wise tuition fees are given below-

Yes, UNM is a Tier 1 university with R1 designation. This designation is given by Carnegie. It is reserved for doctoral universities with very high levels of research activity. In FY 2025, the research expenditures of UNM was USD 389 million. UNM is the only university in New Mexico with this prestigious designation.
