Candidates who are applying to the University of Nottingham are required to have the following English language requirements as part of their application process. Any one of the following:
- IELTS: Overall 6.0 with 5.5 in each element
- PTE: 65
- TOEFL iBT: Overall 79 with 17 in Writing and Listening, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking
- CAE/CPE: Overall 169 with no element below 162
