Students should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised college or university with a scholastic average of B (3.0 on a 4.0 scale). Also the English requirements are mentioned below:

The university does not offer any financial aid for international students. However, scholarships are available for students on a merit basis. Pittsburgh offers international student scholarships for first-year students. International transfer students are not eligible to be considered for the scholarship process.
There are no separate scholarship forms that a student needs to fill to be considered for it. To be considered for the scholarship evaluation, international students need to submit their applications and supporting documents on time.

The University of Pittsburgh has a ranking in the top 50 universities in the world by US News in its Global Universities list since 2019. This year, it has placed Pittsburgh #50 rank. However, QS (Top Universities) has ranked it beyond top 100 universities in the world in its World University Ranking. QS has continuously dropped Pittsburgh's rank from #136 in 2019 to #181 in 2023. Here, we noticed that Pittsburgh has performed well by maintaining its global and regional research reputation. On the other hand, it has not performed well in maintaining its academic reputation which is the prime factor in deciding its rank by QS.
