This means that it is a relatively moderately competitive University. Candidates must fulfill the specific course requirements to secure admission to the University of Rochester. While the acceptance rate is higher, it is suggested that the student apply early for a higher chance of being selected.

the University of Rochester's admission process notifications are based on their application type. For Early decision I applicants, decisions are typically released in mid december, while Early decisions II applicants receive notifications in early feb. Regular decision candidates will be informed of their status by mid of the year . Meanwhile, for those opting for Spring Regular decision, notifications are sent out by the end of the year.

However, to answer the question, applicants can surely get into the university with a GPA of 4 and DET 125, as these are considered good. University of Rochester application deadlines for the 2025 intake vary based on the decision plan of the applicant. Early Decision has passed by Nov 1, 2025, with a mid decision notifications and a three-week response period. Coming to the Early Decision II applicants must submit their applications by Jan 5, 2026 and can expect notifications by Apr 1, 2026 and must reply by May 1, 2026. However, for spring decision, the application deadline is Oct 15, 2025 and the responses can arrive within three weeks. Lastly, the University of Rochester MBA application deadlines for 2025 intake is Jan 5, 2026.
