The University of Southern Denmark is the third-the largest university in Denmark with more than 21,000 students. Approximately 27,0000 students are there at the university, out of whom, 1 in 5 is an international student. The main campus of the university is the Odense campus. The regional campuses of the university is located in 5 cities namely Copenhagen, Kolding, Slagelse, Esbjerg, and Sønderborg.

The University of Southern Denmark campuses are represented in 6 cities: Odense, Kolding, Slagelse, Esbjerg Copenhagen, and Sønderborg. Over 21,000 students are there at SDU. The main campus of the university is the Odense campus and almost all the university’s programs are represented here. Furthermore, the university has 5 faculties. More than 100 programs are offered at the university. The programs at the master’s as well as bachelor’s level are offered.

A few of the tips for students starting their first semester at Uni Southern Denmark are:

  • Get a bike in order to travel in Odense city. This city is one of the bike-friendly cities in Denmark
  • By Odense standards, Odense is cheaper than Copenhagen and Arhus, so, it is easier to find accommodations here
  • Also, make a study group. This way students will be in the habit of completing assignments on time
  • Stick to a routine and maintain a healthy lifestyle apart from managing the studies

Both SDU and Copenhagen Business School are reputed institutions that have their own areas of expertise and strengths. The better university for a student is going to based on various factors such as academic interests, tuition fees, location, career goals, etc. According to a few reviews on an unofficial source, SDU is easier to get admission into. Whereas, in the QS rankings, it ranks at #326 position in 2024 and in THE rankings, the university is placed at #251-300. A few of the reasons that make SDU a good university:
