Tokyo University does not publish official data on the acceptance rate. However, as per some unofficial sources including EduRank, the University of Tokyo acceptance rate is 35%. Which shows that university is very selective in admissions and hard to get into. International students should check the minimum admission requirements before applying to Tokyo University. Yes, the University of Tokyo have dorms on all of its campuses. The housing office of Tokyo University operates dormitories and other accommodations for international students and researchers in the Mejirodai, Oiwake, Komaba and Kashiwa areas. The accommodations available to international students are given below.

PEAK is the collective name for the 4-year undergraduate degree programs at the University of Tokyo delivered entirely in English. Currently, there are two different courses of study available; the International Program on Japan in East Asia, and the Internationa Program on Environmental Sciences. Both of these programs are interdisciplinary degree programs consisting of two years of liberal arts study in the Junior Division and two years of specialisation in the Senior Division
