Yes, international students at the University of Vaasa can work while studying in the university if they hold a residence permit for studies and the employment consists of practical training or Diploma work as part of a degree. On a total, students are allowed to work for a maximum of 30 hours per week.

Yes, University of Vaasa provides Finland Scholarships for international students, which can disburse upto 100% tuition fees for international students in their first year of master's programs. In order to avail this scholarship, candidate must be one of the three the highest ranked applicants in the selection process. Also, applicants applying for Early Bird Rolling Admissions are more likely to get selected for Finland Scholarships as students are not offered a chance to avail this scholarship in the Final Call rolling admissions if they have been already granted in the Early Bird rolling admission.
