Foreign students who will take admission to Zurich University should submit the relevant language proficiency certificates (as required by the course). C1 or higher level proficiency may be required (as required by the courses). The minimum scores required are-

  • IELTS: 7
  • TOEFL: 5
  • C1 Advanced: Grade B

Zurich Uni has been ranked at #100 in QS rankings for 2026. Whereas in ARWU rankings, this university ranks at #64 in 2025. In the Global Universities rankings by U.S. News, the University of Zurich ranking is #59

Zurich Uni does not offer on-campus housing. Students have to arrange their own accommodation. A room in a shared apartment near Zurich University can cost around CHF 500 - 1,000. 

  • A one-room apartment near Zurich Uni  can cost around CHF 900 - 1,400
  • Two-room apartment near the Uni of Zurich can cost around CHF 1,600 - 2,000
