Yes, you can choose the correspondence / Private option there from the board so that you don't need to attend the class regularly & the fees are less compare to regular. My suggestion is to go with NIOS so that you have subject wise option along with on demand exam option with 4 times in a year rest is on your decision.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for JEE with 74% in class 12th. The eligibility criteria for JEE is mentioned below:
- Passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board or university.
- Marks Requirement: General and OBC candidates: Minimum 50% marks in Class 12. SC/ST candidates: Minimum 45% marks in Class 12.
- English Language: English must be a subject of study (core, elective, or functional) in Class 12.

Candidates can appear in JEE Main irrespective of their percentage in class 12. Candidates must note that there is no requirement for JEE Main eligibility marks in 12th for appearing in the exam. The eligibility criteria of 75% marks is applicable only at the time of taking admission to the institute. Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2022, 2023, or appearing in 2024 are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2024. Candidates who passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2021 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2025 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE Main 202

The Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets can be verified online by UP Board Allahabad.
