In School of Design, UPES, CGPA shall be calculated on the basis of all grades, obtained in all completed semesters as follows:
CGPA = (Gi * Ci) / Ci
I =1
Where Ci = Credits in the Course I taken by the student
Gi = Grade Point awarded to the student in the Course I
N = No. Of Courses taken by the student up to the end of that Semester.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have a Graduate Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline with 50 marks in aggregate secured from a recognised University or Institute. Applicants appearing in the final year qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided they submit the proof of their eligibility the latest by October 30, 2021. Up to 30 percent of seats shall be filled through the National Level Tests category like CAT, MAT, XAT, and NMAT. In case applicants for such seats are not available, UPES (Admission Office) has the right to fill these seats through Master of Business Administration (UPESMET).

The fee for a Bachelor of Technology course at UPES (Admission Office) is between INR 10.24 Lacs to INR 18.52 Lacs (for 4 years). Hostel fee details:
Triple sharing basis INR 1,70,000 PA Regular hostel for boys and girls at Bidholi and Kandoli campus. INR 1,90,000 PA for a hostel room with an attached washroom (only for girls). INR 2,13,500 PA for hostel room with attached washroom and Air conditioning (only for girls). A Refundable Hostel Security Fee of INR 10, 000 will be taken at the time of registration. If someone misses their internal exam in School of Design, UPES, a supplementary Exam will be held. No Repeat Supplementary Examination will be held for Mid- Semester/Internal Assessment under any circumstances. After supplementary examination, best of two grades secured by the student will be
retained.

Supplementary Examination will be conducted for the student if he/she fails the internal examinations in the School of Design, UPES. Conducting supplementary exams will help the students to clear their course and improve upon their grades and thereby meet the CGPA/SGPA qualifying criteria. Supplementary Examination will be permitted only when a student has
secured C+, C, C-, D+, D or F grade in case of both Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate
programs.
