While applying for the UPESEAT exam candidates only need a minimum of 50% marks in class 10th and 12th and for PCM subjects of class 12th. However applying for the BTech mathematics and computing programme requires a minimum of 70% marks in class 10th and 12th and 70% marks individually in class 12th PCM subjects.

The UPESEAT 2026 eligibility criteria is at least 50% in class 10th and 12th and 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12th.

To be eligible for UPESEAT 2024, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. Minimum 50% marks in Class X & XII. Candidates appearing for the final year of their qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

The last date to apply for UPESEAT 2024 Phase III was June 27, 2024. The UPESEAT application form 2024 released in an online mode on the official website. The UPESEAT 2024 counselling is a centralised counselling that will be based on the UPESEAT examination merit list, class 12 board, and JEE Main. The UPESEAT result will be released in online mode only on the official website. Candidates will need to login to the official site to check their scores. Candidates who qualify the UPESEAT exam will be eligible for B.Tech. admissions in the affiliated colleges. The UPESEAT result will be displayed in the form of scorecards, which contain important information like overall, category-wise ranks, and aggregate and section-wise marks.

UPES re-registration means that when existing students are promoted to higher semesters, they have to re-register at the beginning of a session, and it is termed as re-registration. Re-registration to the higher semester is mandatory to become eligible to appear for the university examination for existing students. University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude TesT is managed by UPES, Dehradun. This is the university-level examination and is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programmes in several disciplines.

To be eligible for UPESEAT 2024, candidates must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates appearing for the final year of their qualifying exam are also eligible to apply. Both Indian and Foreign nationals are eligible for admission to the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. Candidates applying through the JEE Main 2024 exam need not appear and can participate directly in the counselling. Applicants with scores equal to or above 80% in both Class 10 & 12 levels also need not appear for UPESEAT 2024 and can participate directly in the counselling. There
