UPPCS Exam Centres

The UPPSC PCS 2021 exam centres are allotted to candidates based on the address provided by the candidate in the UPPSC PCS application form 2021. The Commission reserves the right for centre allocation and once a UPPSC exam centre is assigned no request to change the same will be entertained by the UPPSC.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate

The highest post available in the UPPSC exam is Sub-Divisional Magistrate or SDM. After a certain period of service, SDM can become IAS. The SDM is the district's most powerful person, followed by the DM and SSP. Each SDM in the district is allocated to a department

The applicants are suggested to carry the UPPSC admit card along with two photographs and a valid photo ID proof such as \

• Adhar Card
• Driving license
• Passport
• Pan Card
• Voter Identity Card (Voter ID Card/EPIC)

or any of the ID cards issued by the central/state government. These documents are very important for verification and access in the examination centre.

The UPPSC Prelims exam will be conducted in two shifts and the candidates will be required to sit for four hours in the examination hall. Hence we suggest that the candidates to wear comfortable and neat clothes that can help them to sit for long hours.

The candidates should avoid wearing any jewellery or metal objects that might hinder with their speed of marking their answers in the answer sheet.
