No, you cannot apply for the UPSC CMS exam during the fourth year of MBBS. The MBBS is a 5.5-year programme that includes a six-month internship. According to UPSC eligibility criteria, you can take the CMS exam after completing your MBBS degree course or in the final year of your MBBS degree course. If you are in your final year, you must present your course completion Certificate. This Certificate needs to be submitted before the last date for the submission of the detailed application form (DAF).
