UPSSSC PET Selection Process

The UPSSSC PET exam is an entrance exam conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) to shortlist candidates for various Group C posts in different departments and organizations under the Uttar Pradesh government. The selection process for the UPSSSC PET exam typically involves the following stages:

1. Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET): The first stage of the selection process is the PET exam itself. It is a screening test conducted in an objective multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. The exam is designed to assess the general knowledge and aptitude of candidates. 
2. Main Examination: Candidates who qualify in the PET exam are eligible to appear for the Main Examination, which is more specific to the particular post or group of posts. 
3. Document Verification: After the Main Examination, candidates who secure the required cutoff marks are called for document verification. During this stage, candidates are required to provide the necessary original documents, such as educational certificates, identity proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents. 
4. Final Merit List: Based on the performance in the Main Examination and document verification, a final merit list is prepared by the UPSSSC.
