International students can choose to stay and look for jobs after completing an MIM from universities abroad. For that, they would require special work permits and visas that allow them to stay in the country while looking for a job or starting any business relevant to their field, thus expanding their chances of gaining practical experience related to their field while staying in the country. Below are the post-study work permits given by some top countries:

USA: After completion of their degrees, international students can apply for an F-1 visa to participate in an Optional Practical Training (OPT) in the United States. Following OPT, they would be permitted to continue working in the study area for a maximum of 12 months. International students would have an excellent opportunity to acquire practical industrial skills with an OPT, significantly improving their job prospects. However, US Citizenship and Immigration Services must approve foreign students' OPT applications.
UK: Following their studies in the UK, international students are eligible to apply for the Graduate Route Visa, which permits them to remain and work in the UK for a maximum of two years following degree completion. International students, while applying for the Graduate Route visa,  do not mandatorily need to have a job offer, hence making the process easier after graduation.

Indian students need to complete one undergraduate degree in 4 years, usually Science, before applying to a U.S. medical school. A requirement to apply is the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). The MCAT tests material in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Critical Thinking. Indian students also need to complete a residency programme, which lasts from 3 to 7 years, depending on the specialty, after medical school. A proof of English proficiency and a good academic record must also be produced to U.S. medical schools. Also, financial planning is paramount since studying MBBS in the U.S. is expensive. The cost of tuition, and living expenses, vary from state to state and one institutional tuition costs will differ significantly from another.

International applicants planning to pursue an MBA in Business Analytics in USA must apply for the F-1 student visa as soon as they get their acceptance letter from their desired university. The university will issue an I-20 form, which will be required to pay the SEVIS I-900 fee and book a VISA interview appointment at the US Embassy. During the interview process, students will be asked to provide mandatory documents such as proof of funds in the form of bank statements or scholarship documents, academic records, a valid passport, and an acceptance letter. The SEVIS I-900 fee is around USD 350, and the visa application fee is around USD 185. Students must start the VISA process around 2-3 months earlier, as the process requires several background checks, which will lead to a delay if not provided with all the documentation.
