Both Scranton & Valparaiso are popular among international students for their overall quality of education & the post-study employment opportunities they offer among some other factors.
However, both these institutions are somewhat selective when it comes to accepting admission applications, prioritising students with better qualifications. The Scranton University has an acceptance rate of around 84%, while that of Valparaiso University is 94%. Though, both are very similar in terms of accepting applications, Valparaiso is relatively easier to secure admissions to than Scranton.

I can see myself choosing the University of Michigan–Dearborn over Valparaiso University any day. This is because, first of all, it's part of the University of Michigan, which already guarantees one US university degree, especially in such industries as automotive, tech or finance, as it is located near Detroit. The larger alumni network also creates more openings for networking for potential employment. Not to mention, the programs are pretty adjustable, which is great because you can adapt them to your needs.
