Vancouver Island University

Once a candidate has applied to Vancouver Island University through the Application Portal available on the university's website and fulfilled all the admission requirements ie; academic qualifications, English language proficiency requirements as well as supporting documents, VIU acknowledges the candidate's application within two-eight weeks of receiving the same and notifies them in case of any next steps required to complete their application.

When a decision is taken, students are notified about their admission status through an official email sent by the university. At Vancouver Island University, applicants are considered for admission only when all required information and documentation has been received.

Prospective international students of Vancouver Island University can apply to the university through the Application Portal available on the university's website. While applying to VIU, applicants must submit the following documents:

• Official academic transcripts
• Proof of English language proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL/PTE);
• A copy of your passport (photo page);
• Copy of High School Graduation Diploma (if available); and
• Copy of University Degree (If available).

All documents must be translated by a certified translator or notarized if they are in a language other than English.
