Kashi Institute of Technology was established in 2008 and is located in Varanasi. It is a private institution and has a 12 year experience of academic excellence, and offers holistic education to students. It has also been awarded Grade A Accreditation by NAAC. SMS Varanasi provides various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. As per the report, of SMS Varanasi placements the placement record stood at INR 12.5 LPA and INR 3.88 LPA, respectively. And in 2023, 204 MBA students were placed during SMS Varanasi placements 2022. The median package offered to MBA students stood at INR 4.10 LPA . The top recruiters visited during SMS Varanasi placements 2023 included Airtel, FedEx, Dabur, HCL, Wipro, etc. 

Comparing the quality and reputation of two educational institutions can be subjective and dependent on various factors. However, both institutes offer undergraduate courses such as BBA and BCA. The Business India B-School survey has ranked SMS Varanasi 45th amongst the Top 50 B-Schools in the country (North) by Business India.
