VELS School of Law admissions 2025-26 are currently open for BA LLB, BBA LLB, and other various courses. Students can visit the official website to learn more about the application process and apply online. The institute offers 9 courses in total, including B.A. LL.B. (Hons), LL.M, BBA LL.B. (Hons), B.Com LL.B and LL.B. The 7 specialisations provided by the School of Law include Administrative Law, Commercial Law, Constitutional Law, Corporate Law, Criminal Law, Intellectual Property Law, Labor & Employment Law.

Most accurate data is not available for the seats availability . You have to contact the office directly. As per previous records, there were 150 seats for LL.M Criminal Law and Criminal Justice Administration at VELS School of Law, Chennai. This data has been changed after NEP but information is not publicly available.

For better placements at VELS School of Law between LL.M Labour and Admin Law or LL.M Constitutional and Admin Law, there is no specific data available for specific branches from placement cell. You have to directly contact the college . Average Package for both branches ranges between Rs. 5 to Rs. 6 Lpa and the highest package between Rs. 11 to 15 LPA.

Here are the details about  BBA LLB fees at VELS school of law:

The course is of  10 semesters so

1)Tution fee per semester: Rs. 51000

2)Other Fees per semester: Rs.44000

Total fees for all semesters: Rs.950000

For the specific branches of LLM, placements details are not available in public domain. You have to directly contact the institute for the records. As per the available records in public domain, average package is around Rs.5 LPA and the highest package stands at Rs. 8Lpa. You can guess the rough figures for the specific branches.

It depends on your needs actually. It is one of the prestigious Institutes in Chennai for law in India. It is ranked 54th best institute in India Today rankings for the year 2024. It has great academic record, good infrastrucutre and excellent allumni network. There are various colleges in Chennai for Law which you can prefer to.

The course is of 6 semesters so

1)Tution fee per semester: Rs. 106000

2)Other Fees per semester: Rs.19000

Total fees for all semesters: Rs.750000

You should directly contact the college for the marks required and all other admission procedures.  Merit list is prepared on the basis of VEE marks and it is published directly on the website. It does not contain marks.
