VESIM maintained simple criteria for MBA admission for those candidates who have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 % marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC category). Candidates must also have appeared for any of the following entrance exams: MAT with a 400 composite score, CMAT with a 40 percentile, XAT 40 percentile MAH CET 40 percentile or CAT 40 percentile. Also, the candidate must complete at least 2 years of work experience (in the case of the Executive MBA program). The final decision-making involves a group discussion, personal interview and the student's performance in the entrance examination/academic achievement,

To be eligible for MBA admission at VESIM, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Entrance Exam Scores: A valid percentile in at least one of the accepted management entrance exams, such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, CMAT, or ATMA. The minimum percentile varies but is generally around 80% or above.

In addition to scoring a valid percentile in a national-level entrance exam, applicants for VESIM's PGDM programme must also meet the following eligibility criteria:
* Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
- No age limit.
- Applicants with work experience will be given preference.
