No, not at all. Get rid of this thought. Basically India is a media and entertainment savvy nation and is also produces the highest number of feature films in the world with over 1000 films every year. Every film has minimum 50-100 VFX shots to maximum 4000-5000 shots. VFX is a laborious and highly skilled work. For a film like Bahubali, it took two years to complete the VFX with over 600 artists working on it. There is no entrance exam for M.Sc Animation Course. Under Graduation Degree is required. Students with Media related degree programs like Visual Communication, fine arts or students with basic designing tools knowledge can directly be enrolled. Others have to take the bridge course for one month to enter into MSc.
