Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have completed Diploma from recognised University. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in Electrical & Electronics Engg. / Electrical Engg. or Equivalent from a UGC recognised University/ Institute. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates over TS PGECET qualified candidates. Candidate must have secured 50% marks in group subjects taken together in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category). |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidate must have passed Bachelor Degree (BA / B.Com/ B.Sc/ BBA / BBM / BCA / BE / B.Tech / B. Pharmacy / Any 3 or 4 year Degree except Oriental Languages). Examinations of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examinations. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis. The minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years as on the date of notification (Candidates whose date of Birth up to 30th MARCH, 2003). No maximum age limit. |

The rank to for the bc-d category should be as small as possible for getting the seat in the good colleges. The rank should be less than the 10000 so that you can easily get the college for the category you belong to. The top colleges will take the candidate's who gains the good rank in the entrance exam.
