The college has good placement facilities. More than 60 percent of students were placed in college, with the highest salary package of INR 9.5 LPA and the lowest salary package of INR 2.5 LPA. A few students got internships with a package of INR 2.3 LPA. Top roles offered are data analyst, software developer, web developer, frontend developer, etc.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited Bangalore's Vijaya Vittala Institute of Technology (VVIT) with a 'B+' grade.
The institution's pledge to delivering quality education and addressing certain academic and infrastructural requirements is shown in its accreditation. VVIT has also been accredited by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi.
