Eligibility to get admission in Vimala College UG courses are Class 12 from a Kerala State Board/ equivalent. PG courses admission requires minimum 50% to 55% aggregate in the graduation with relevant subjects. MSW admission requires 50% in UG degree along with the entrance score, GD & PI.

Vimala College admission is merit-based for a majority of the programme. The college offers 16 UG courses in B.A., BSc & BCom, M.A. MSW, MCom and MSc. Few courses, such as MSW requires Entrance Test and Group Discussion process.
