Pursuing a B.Sc at Vimala College, Thrissur, is not much expensive.

Bsc Tuition fees is 19.1- 69K

and the average package or return on Investment is Rs. 2.2L - 2.7L

The highest package offered at Vimala College is approximately INR 10 Lacs Per Annum (LPA). 101 UG and 96 PG students were placed with a median package for UG (3-year) and PG (2-year) courses offered during college placements 2022 Stood at INR 2.7 LPA and INR 3.6 LPA.

Vimala college and Assumption college are both good universities in the state. Both are very well reputated among the students.

Coming to the placements both have placement percentage about 90%. Last year, Vimala college placed 101 UG students and 96 PG students with median package being 2.7 LPA and 3.6 LPA respectively. On the other hand, Assumption college placed 90% of their students with median package being 4.7 and 3.9 LPA in UG and PG respectively.

It can be said that both these institutions are quite similar and both are as good as among them.

There are no entrance exam requirements at Vimala College in order to be admitted to the BSc programs. The following criteria are used by Vimala College to determine admission to the BSc program:

Students should have passed the Science stream 10+2 exam or an equivalent test from an accredited board.
A minimum cumulative percentage in 10+2 of 45% (or 40% for reserved groups) is necessary.
Physics, Chemistry, Math, Computer Science, Statistics, Biology, and Electronics should be the subjects studied in 10+2.

Good thing about this college -

Excellent faculty including highly skilled and seasoned instructors. Instructors are helpful. A calm study space that prioritizes order and discipline.Good lab spaces for hands-on learning and group projects.Frequent workshops, seminars, and guest lectures are planned. Beneficial exposure for students, Vibrant campus life that includes a wide range of extracurricular, sports, and cultural events. Reasonable tuition in contrast to many other universities. There are also numerous scholarships available.A good choice for local students seeking Science instruction in the Trichy area.

No, CUET is not currently required for admission to Vimala College's BSc programs. But, other thing that sholud be keep in mind that -

1.Successfully completed the 10+2 or an equivalent science-focused examination from an accredited board.
Minimum Grades: In 10+2, students must have earned a minimum of 45% of the possible points (or 40% for the restricted categories).
2. The primary subjects for a 10+2 pass should have been physics, chemistry, computer science, statistics, biology, and electronics.

There is no entrance exam necessary.Vimala College accepts TANCET, GATE, and CAT test results for MSc programs. The most popular exam for MSc admission is TANCET.Scores from the TANCET, CAT, MAT, and XAT are recognised for MA programs. BSc fees /year - Around Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 10,000, MSc fees / year - Around Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000, MA fees per year - Around Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000, MPhil fees per year - Around Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 35,000.

 Assumption College:

BSc fees per year - Around Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 15,000,   MSc fees per year - Around Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 45,000, MA fees per year - Around Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 25,000 , MPhil fees per year - Around Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 40,000.

 

Both universities charge similar prices for their hostels and mess, with the former charging between Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 60,000 annually for residents living on campus
