Yes Vimala College offers the scholarships to eligible students through two schemes under Central Government, and State Government. Some of the scholarships are Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities, INSPIRE Scholarship, State Merit Scholarship -DCE, PRATHIBHA Scholarship, BLIND/PH Scholarship -DCE, SNEHAPOORVAM Scholarship, PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child and many more.

Candidates can apply both online or offline. Vimala College application form can be collected from the campus by paying the application fee in cash or via post by sending a DD for the prescribed application fee. Candidate must fill out the application form with all required details, and a hard copy of the completed application form must be printed and photographs attached to the space provided, and submitted in the concerned department at the college.

Women candidates seeking admission at Vimala College, can apply online on the official website of the college. Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination. Seat reservation is provided as per norms set by the University of Calicut and State Govt. of Kerala. After final selection, candidates must report to the college campus with their Parent/ Guardian for admission.

The Vimala College tuition fee for B.A. and BSc programme ranges between INR 19,100 - INR 69,000. MSc and M.A. course cost ranges between INR 3,800 to INR 90,000. Yes, Seats reservation are available for various categories students belonging to SC, ST, Minority, OBC etc. For Self Finance programmes, 50% of the total seats shall be filled by the management from among candidates of their choice provided they satisfy the eligibility conditions. As per the latest cutoff is one have 80%-75% in class 12th, he/she can grab B.Sc in Computer Science From Open Category. For OBC (christian), OCH (Hindu), Muslim and Latin/Catholic Christians cutoff is 65%-70%. for Schedule Caste cutoff is 60%-65 % is also enough and for Schedule Tribe 60% is enough to grab an seat in any of B.Sc course at Vimala College, Thrissur.
