As per the available information, getting direct admission to the VIT-AP School of Law for a BA LLB (Hons) may not be possible. This is because the course admission is entrance-based. Candidates willing to pursue BA LLB (Hons) at VIT-AP School of Law must appear for the VSL Admission Test (VSLAT), followed by GD and PI. VSL also considers candidate's CLAT scores for admission. Further, aspirants must satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the BCI.

VIT-AP School of Law, VIT-AP University BA LLB (Hons) admission is subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria specified by the BCI. The basic eligibility requirements that must be met by aspirants are as follows:
- Candidates must have completed Class 12 or its equivalent examination from a recognised board (CBSE/ICSE/State Boards) with a minimum aggregate as specified by the BCI
- Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category or hailing from Jammu & Kashmir or the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura are given an exemption as per BCI norms
