Yes, the Vellore Institute of Technology has released the VITREE application form 2026. Registration window was open on August 27 and the last date to submit the application form is November 20. Candidates who are willing to take admission in PhD programmes in VIT can apply for VITREE exam.

No, candidates can not get direct admission in VIT Vellore. The college provides an admission process to students on the basis of an entrance exam for the majority of the courses. Some of the popular national-level entrance exams accepted by the college are NATA, GATE, CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, etc.

VIT tuition fee is different for Group A and B courses. Fee will be according to programmes that students have to choose to study in institutes. For Group A programmes, total annual fee is INR 1,76,000, and for Group B, it is INR 1,98,000.

VIT authorities will release official list of VITEEE 2026 toppers. Top 10 students who have scored highest ranks in examination will be announced as toppers of examination. Performance of candidates will be checked by authorities for ranking.

VITEEE merit list is prepared after checking performance of students in entrance exam. Merit list will be used to give ranks to students for admission. After merit list is prepared, ranks will be announced through result.

Registered candidates will have to book VIT exam slots at official website. After logging in, they have to choose their preferred slot from available ones. Exam slot will be given according to submitted preference.

No, the official VITEEE cutoffs are not released by the authorities. The cutoff is prepared to help the authorities determine the students for admission. The cutoff will be different for every category, course and college selected by the students.

Students will have to book their VIT exam slots during slot booking. During slot booking, students have to log in and choose their preferred exam slot. Only available slots will be listed out. Once booked, slots cannot be reviewed or changed.

Yes, VIT does offer scholarships to eligible students. In the official website, the VIT authorities have mentioned that the toppers of each board (central or state) are given a 4 year 100% fee waiver under the School Development Programme. Similarly, VITEEE rank holders 1 to 10 are given 100% fee waiver for all four years. VIT rank holders of 11 to 50 are given 75% fee waiver, 51 to 100 ranks a 50% fee waiver, and 101 to 500 rank holders, a 25% fee waiver.
