Placements: Nearly 95% of students get placements on campus. The highest package is 70 LPA, the lowest package is 8 LPA, and the average package is 15 LPA. Both BITSAT and VITEEE are one of the highly competitive private engineering entrance examinations. Since the syllabus of both the exams consists of topics from 11th and 12th standard syllabus, the difficulty level of BITSAT and VITEEE can be considered similar. Along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, both exams also assess the students on their English, Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning. Students with 65-75 marks out of 120 will have a fair chance of getting admissions through VITEEE 2023. The cutoff for admissions will be prepared based on various factors related to the entrance exam. However, it is to be noted that only those candidates who secure a rank of up to 1 Lacs will be eligible for admissions into VIT Vellore and Chennai campuses. Those students with a rank above 1 Lacs will be able to apply for admissions into the VIT Andhra Pradesh and Bhopal campuses.

VIT University offers a full-time MCA via School of Information Technology & Engineering (SITE). The duration of the programme is two years. The Deemed University, every year, conducts Vellore Institute of Technology Masters Entrance Examination (VITMEE) to offer admission to the MCA programme. VITMEE is a computer-based test that is held offline at several centres across the country. Final admission is subject to a personal interview (PI) round of the shortlisted candidates.

Yes, VIT Vellore is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with an 'A+' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It was established in 1984 as a self-financing institution called the Vellore Engineering College under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has granted approval to VIT Vellore to conduct various undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the academic year 2022-23. The university offers a diverse range of courses, including B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, Ph.D., B.Sc (Hons), B.Sc, M.Sc, BCA, BCom, MCA, and MDes.

The BBA programme costs between INR 1.1 Lacs and INR 1.6 Lacs in total. A 3,000 Indian rupee caution deposit is included in the cost. After all selection processes are finished, candidates must pay the course cost to secure their spot. If an applicant fails to make the required payment within the allotted time, their admission will be revoked. To apply for admission, candidates will also have to pay a registration fee. The BBA course requires an application fee of INR 600. The registration cost may be paid by candidates using any of the online payment options.

Yes, Mathematics is compulsory for BCA admission at VIT Vellore. You should have Mathematics in class 12. A pass in Class 12 with Mathematics/Business Mathematics & Statistics / Applied Mathematics as one of the subjects is required for eligibility.
