To be eligible for the B.Tech programme at VIT, you must have a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination. Reserved category (SC/ST) candidates can apply with 50% marks. 

According to some, it is impossible to get a seat at VIT University with a rank of 88,000. However, others say that a rank of 1 Lacs can get you CSE in category 2 or 3, or branches like Mechanical, ECE, E&I, and EEE in Category 1.

Every year, the Vellore Institute of Technology administers the Engineering Entrance Examination to candidates seeking admission to its participating institutes' undergraduate engineering programmes (BTech). No, candidates who have qualified UCEED can get admission to BDes course of VIT Vellore. Also, VITEEE is valid for BTech programme. Aspirants who have not qualified UCEED can appear for VIT-DAT conducted by VIT Vellore. The university evaluates the performance of the candidates in UCEED, portfolio and personal interview round for selection. Portfolio is presentation of original creative works like sketching, drawing, painting, craft works, and photography, etc.

VIT- Bhopal offers admissions to students on the basis of rank scored in the exam. Students may be informed prior if the exam gets canceled, in that case, admission will be done on the basis of class 12 score or JEE rank or a valid SAT.

Candidates will be able to access their individual VITEEE application number after completing the registration process. The generated application number has to be kept safe since it will be required for log in purposes. In case the candidates forget their application number, they will be able to access the facility to re-generate it at the official website. The candidates can also contact the authorities if they face any issues on accessing their VITEEE application form.

No. The candidates are not required to send out the print out of the VITEEE application form to the authorities. Candidates are advised to download and print out the filled VIT application form for future reference. However, no submissions have to be done to the authorities. VITEEE application form has to be submitted only online. In case of any mistakes in the submitted application form, the candidates are advised to contact the authorities immediately.

After the VITEEE application process, the candidates are advised to keep some documents safe since it may be needed during the counselling and admission process. A print out of the filled out VIT application form has to be kept until the end of the admissions and the candidates are also advised to save the documents that were referred to while filling out the form. Candidates should also save their VITEEE application number for future log in purpose. After accessing their VIT admit card, the candidates should print it out and keep it safe for future use.

While filling out the VITEEE application form, the candidates are advised to use a compatible browser so that they do not face any issues in the process. Most of the web browsers are compatible to fill out the VIT application form, however, the candidates are advised to use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome for a smoother form filling process. Candidates should ensure that their system is updated so that they can fill out the form in one way and submit it.

Yes, the candidates will be able to check their obtained rank in the VITEEE result. The authorities will allot the ranks as per the scores obtained in the entrance examination. If two or more candidates secure the same scores in the entrance examination, then the tie-breaking rules will be followed to allot the VITEEE ranks. The authorities will not accept any requests for review of VITEEE score or rank. Candidates are advised to check their details carefully before downloading the VITEEE result.

VITEEE result will be available online at vit.ac.in. To access the VIT result, the candidates will have to log in using their VITEEE application form number and password. No other mode will be used to declare the result of VITEEE. If the candidates are not able to log in using the required credentials, then they are advised to contact the authorities immediately. The scores and ranks obtained in the entrance examination will be released through the VITEEE result.
