Not quite 100%, but roughly 80–90% of students will be placed in VESIT; however, this also depends on the course and the students. It has been noted that computer Science students place nearly 100% of the time because the college is primarily known for its computer Science branch of engineering.
It should be noted that not all students choose to pursue placements; rather, some choose to pursue other objectives or pursue further education. For this reason, a 100% placement rate cannot be attained.

To be eligible for a B.Tech programme at VESIT, a candidate must have the MHT CET or JEE exams scores . Admission to this college is possible for both scores. The Maharashtra Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) administers a centralized admissions process to fill the seats. The course affects how slightly the cutoffs vary. Different courses have different cutoffs, and the cutoffs vary based on the caste and category of the student. In addition, the candidate's pcm score in the 12th grade examination had to be greater than 45%.

The cutoff report for this year has not yet been made public by the VESIT college. On the Vesit College website, you can examine the cutoff percentages and the 2023 cutoff report, though. The student's caste and category determine the cutoff for scores, with the preferred course having a negligible impact. The MHT CET and JEE exams have different cutoff scores. despite the fact that the typical cutoff for JEE candidates falls between the 90 and 92 percentile for ordinary category candidates. The minority of Sindhis may make up as little as 1% of the population.
