To get admission in VESIT fir UG and PG courses, you must meet the eligibility requirements of college . For B.E./B.Tech you must have a minimum of 45% in 10+2 and a valid score in JEE Main , for MCA you must have a minimum of 50% in graduation and a valid score in MAH MCA CCET, for M.E./M.Tech you must have a minimum of 50% in graduation and a valid score in GATE or MHT CET.
For the Executive PGDM a minimum of 50% in a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognised university. and also need to perform well in exams like MH-CET, CAT, GMAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, or MAT. MMS u must have a minimum of 45% in

The eligibility criteria for BE/B.Tech is students must have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics ( compulsory subjects.) With minimum 45%, you can get admission through entrance exams like JEE, other than this students belonging to the State of Maharashtra are required to secure a valid score in the State Common Entrance Test.

Getting admission to Vivekanand Education Societys Institute of Technology can be considered hard because:
- Major admissions are done through entrance exams like MHT CET and JEE .
- For admissions via state quota seats candidates need to clear MHT CET and register on the website portal before the counselling process begins.
- Admissions into All india Quota Seats is done through JEE Mains scores and JoSSA or CSAB conducts counselling for the same depending on the round.
- In 2023, MHT CET cutoff for computer engineering was 98.17 and JEE Main cutoff for computer Engineering through AIQ seats was 2638.

The best course offered by Vivekanand Education Societys Institute of Technology is the BTech course. The college offers seven specialisations in BTech. The highest package offered at the college till now is INR 15 LPA and the average package is around INR 6.5 LPA. The labs are well equipped, with all the systems in working condition.

Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology (VESIT) is a private institute established in 1984. It is located at Chembur, Mumbai. VISET is an self financing Engineering college in Mumbai, it is recognised as a Tier 1 college and was recognised as rank 1 in private engineering institutes in Maharashtra state by Education World Magazine in the Private Engineering Institutes Ranking 2020-21.
The placement rate is also quite good almost all students gets placed and they have a good placement cell, almost everyone in the college got internships. The oldest engineering college with 25 years of excellence and the placement percentage they have is about 60%.
