VESIT or Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology conducts its admission through MHT-CET and the JEE Mains scores, for B.Tech program. VESIT is situated in Mumbai – Maharashtra India and is an affiliate of the University of Mumbai. It provides several specialties in B.Tech such as Computer, Information Technology Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical & Civil Engineering. MHT-CET as the name suggests is an entrance examination undertaken by the Government of Maharashtra for admission to the first year of full time Degree courses of engineering and technology and first year of full time Degree courses of pharmacy.

- OBC category is INR 84914.

This university provides excellent placement opportunities. Can't be sure of 100% placement but according to the VESIT Mumbai Placement Report 2023, out of 607 eligible students for VESIT Mumbai placements, 474 students were placed with a median salary of INR 6.5 LPA. That means it provides an average of 78% of placement which is an adequate percentage.
Some of the top recruiters are Capgemini, HCL Tech, TCS, Siemens, Reliance Jio, etc.

VESIT or Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology offers admission to B.Tech programme and it offers admission on the basis of scores in the entrance examination: The accepted exams are Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. For MHT CET, the percentile score is considered by the institute, The cutoff for different branches varies between the 80-98.69 percentile scores. It is common that the cutoff list for Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology (VESIT) comes out after the declaration of MHT CET and JEE Main scores. However, the exact date is not defined the prior research shows that the cutoff list is often released in the months of June or July. For example, the cutoff list of VESIT MHT CET for 2024 was announced in July with the highest cutoff percentile of 98.69 for general category students. The following documents are acceptable for admission to Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology (VESIT: These are 10th and 12th standard mark sheets (photocopies), Diploma mark sheet and certificate for lateral entry students, Bachelor's degree mark sheet and certificate for M.Tech students and entrance exam score card (GATE/CET etc.). Besides, candidates must enclose a certificate of Indian nationality, a caste certificate, if applicable, and a medical fitness certificate. The candidates also have to bring 4-6 passport size photographs and a demand draft of INR 1,000 as an application fee.
