Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology (VESIT) has a total of 600 seats distributed across the B.Tech. programs in various fields. The seats are divided into the following branches: Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (EXTC), Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The number of seats for each branch may fluctuate slightly with the difference in academic years and following government norms. To get admission into the B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology (VESIT), students should have passed 12th grade or equivalent with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admission is through valid MHT CET scores or JEE Main. The institute follows the domicile rules of the state and gives preference to the candidates from Maharashtra. Besides, the candidate must meet the age criteria as mentioned in the guidelines of the university. Only then does the candidate become eligible for the CSE program.

Eligibility criteria for the B.Tech. courses offered at Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology (VESIT) will include completion of 12th grade or its equivalent from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Applicants are also required to hold valid scores in MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) or JEE Main. In addition to these, candidates applying for direct admission under the management quota must have fulfilled all basic academic requirements. Further, candidates must have completed their age and domicile eligibility requirements set by the university and the state.

CSE and IT is the one having a the largest number of placement, normally at VESIT- Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology. This happens to be primarily because software professionals as well as IT experts have greater demand in several other Industries. Such giants in company like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, Accenture and such others, make many campus recruitments in such a branch. The following scholarships offered by the VESIT are as follow:
- Student aid scholarship : Students have a score of atleast 7.00 grade and the family income of less than 1 LPA. Scholarship of INR 5,000 each are given to 25-30 students .

VESIT offers courses like B.Tech/B.E., MCA, ME. Its the highest package offered till now was 29.25 LPA in 2022 and the highest package offered in 2024 was 14.5 LPA. this package were offered to the student of B.E./B.Tech branch. So from the following statics one can say that B.E. is quite good course to opt at VESIT.

The MAH CET CUTToff for Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology changes every year depending on various things. For last year it was 99.19 percentage. The MHT CET 2025 exam for admission to BE/BTech and Integrated BTech courses will be held from April 19 to April 27, 2025. The registration for MHT CET 2025 is expected to begin in January 2025.

MGM's College of Engineering and Technology offers only BTech, MCA and MTech courses. Admission to the courses are done based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main/MHT CET, MAH MCA CET and MHTCET MTech exams respectively. The JEE Main, MAH MCA CET ranks and MHTCET MTech percentile for admission in 2024 varied from 27015 to 40928, around 9919, and around 15.33 respectively. You have to meet the eligibility criteria for the specific programme you choose . Minimum criteria for every programme to have a 50 % score in 12th and a decent score in entrance exam. For btech/ B.E they opt JEE Main, for M.Tech students should have an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50%, alongside they must also have either a GATE score or a MHT CET score. and yes admission without GATE is possible, but a MHT CET M.Tech score is mandatory.
