No, you do not need to prepare for the Aptitude test as per the WBJEE JECA syllabus. The Aptitude and Mathematics section has been removed from the syllabus, and you would only need to study topics from the BCA and similar level courses. 

Yes, candidates must verify and check the official eligibility criteria before registering for WBJEE JECA. If candidates are deemed ineligible, their admission will be cancelled by the authorities. Hence, the candidates must ensure that they verify the criteria as mentioned on the website carefully before starting the application process.

No. Not all the details will be available for corrections in the WBJEE JECA application form. The candidates won't be able to edit/correct their fundamental details, i.e., their name, father's name, mother's name, gender, domicile and date of birth using the WBJEE JECA application correction facility. Hence, the candidates are recommended to be attentive while submitting their fundamental details in the JECA application form.

Before filling out the WBJEE JECA application form, the candidates are advised to keep certain documents ready so that they are able to complete the process smoothly without any problems. Some of the important documents and information to be kept ready are:

• 10th and 12th standard marksheets

• Graduation marksheet

• Category certificate

• Scanned passport size photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression

No. You cant modify your date of birth in the WBJEE JECA application form. Hence, be extremely cautious while entering their details in the WBJE JECA application form. WBJEE JECA application fee is as follows - 

• General category: INR 500. 

• Third Gender/SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS category: INR 400

Yes. You must stick to the WBJEE JECA syllabus as released online by the authorities.
