WBJEE JECA application fee is as follows -
General category: INR 500.
Third Gender/SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS category: INR 400
Candidates can pay the JECA application fee online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI/QR code.

Yes. You must stick to the WBJEE JECA syllabus as released online by the authorities. If the candidates are aware of the syllabus, they will be able to make their study plan such that they have sufficient time to finish the syllabus and practice it. Knowing the syllabus will also enable the candidates to understand what is expected to be answered in the question paper.

WBJEE JECA 2025 application form dates have been released online on wbjeeb.nic.in. The dates of application form filling are from Sept 10-17.
Before registration, the candidates must confirm the official JECA eligibility criteria. At the time of filling the WBJEE JECA application form, the candidates must enter their personal, academic and contact details. The WBJEE JECA 2025 application form will not be available in any other medium.

No. WBJEE JECA will not be conducted in other states. All of the exam centres will be within the West Bengal districts. Candidates shall have to choose three of their desired zones while filling in the application form. Assignment of WBJEE JECA exam centres shall be on the basis of the choice of the desired zones and availability.

Here are the particulars of the WBJEE JECA question paper and how to solve it -
WBJEE JECA question paper shall be objective types with multiple-choice questions.
Four alternatives shall be given in each question, and the candidates shall choose one correct alternative.
The answer shall be marked by colouring the respective circle/bubble on the OMR sheet using a blue/black ink ball-point pen.
All the answers must be marked carefully so that no issues are faced during evaluation.

WBJEE JECA syllabus is available online in the information bulletin as released by the exam authorities. Download the information bulletin and go to APPENDIX –6, page number 23. It is available online at wbjeeb.nic.in. From the syllabus, the candidates can get to know the units and topics on which they will need to prepare for the upcoming entrance exam.

Yes. The candidates are recommended to take up mock tests to be adequately prepared for WBJEE JECA. With the help of the mock tests, the candidates will get an idea of how the entrance test would be. Mock tests will also help candidates gauge their current preparation level. The candidates can recognise their frequently made errors and practice on them so that the same will not be committed in the test. Mock tests also enable candidates to enhance their time management skills.

Once the WBJEE JECA seat allotment is made public, candidates will need to confirm their admission within the deadline. To verify, the candidates will need to initially pay the acceptance fee for the seat and report to their allotted institute. While at the institute, the candidates will need to get their documents verified. All documents must be submitted in their original form, along with a set of photocopies.

WBJEE JECA 2025 result date is yet to be announced. The candidates will be able to view the WBJEE JECA result a few weeks after the exam, which will be conducted on October 19, 2025. The official website link to view the WBJEE JECA result will be uploaded online on wbjeeb.nic.in. The candidates will be able to view the scores and ranks they have achieved through the WBJEE JECA result.

The WBJEE JECA exam is a 2-hour examination. The candidates will have to solve 100 multiple-choice questions within the given time. The candidates will not be given any additional time. Once the examination time is completed, the candidates are required to stop marking the answers, or otherwise their OMR sheets will be deemed invalid.
