While preparing the WBJEE JECA cutoff, the authorities will consider various factors related to the entrance examination and admission process. Some of the important factors that are considered to prepare the cutoff are the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of candidates, previous year cutoff trends, the total number of seats, etc. The authorities will release separate WBJEE JECA cutoffs online for the two rounds of counselling.

Throughout the counselling process of WBJEE JECA, the candidates will be required to select their college choice. The candidates must choose their colleges in order of preference. All the options must be chosen and locked before the deadline, which will be notified soon. Once submitted, the authorities won't be able to alter the preference order of their choices.
