Due to the cut-throat competition, the college does not give much time after the 1st cut-off list - so it is important to decide, otherwise, the seat will get allocated to another student in the next cut-off list. To confirm your seat, you need to pay the fee. A major part of it is refundable in majority colleges in case you want to opt out. But this refund process takes time and you need to follow it regularly with the authorities. So, please check all details with the college authorities.

Hi MD Shahzada, Please note the process of up-gradation works like this. After first set of seat allotment you will be asked whether you are happy with the allotted branch and the college or not. If yes you freeze. If not you have 2 options
Slide I. e you can go to a preferred branch of your higher preference in same institute. Float I. e you can go to a different institution different branch of your higher preference. And hence the other two round continues. At last if seat is vacant you can avail spot counselling which is conducted by the respective institution. Choose your preference list wisely. Even if you think that you have slim
