Yes, you are on dot. General category students are required to score 45% marks while reserved category students are required to score 40% marks in their 12th exam. There are other requirements too that a candidate needs to fulfil. But I would advise you to wait few months so that exam conducting authority publishes the requirements officially. For Practice:
Concepts of physics by HC Verma (it is very recommended for JEE aspirants, it will uproot all your doubts related to that topic once you finish its examples and exercise. ). (Its part-1 is really beautiful specially mechanics. )
NCERT (additional exercise, you shouldnot neglect it. )
