Eligibility: 10+2 with Mandatory Subjects: Physics, Chemistry. Candidate must have selected any one from Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects along with mandatory subjects and must have secured 45% (40% in case of reserved category) in the mandatory and optional subjects taken together.
Admission is based on rank obtained in WBJEE/ JEE Mains.
Vacant seats will be filled by Adamas University Admission Test (AUAT) merit list.

General Academic Qualifications for admission to Engineering/Pharmacy Courses are defined below:
For Engineering: Passed class 12th examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application as compulsory subjects. Yes, scoring 60% marks in your class 12th will definitely make you eligible for getting admission in Jadavpur University. This of course will be based on your WBJEE rank. Yes, SNUSAT is easier than JEE Mains. JEE Mains is the toughest engineering entrance exam.

If you want to get a good college and you have enough dedication and confidence. You should drop one more year rather than doing B.Tech and preparation simultaneously. B.Tech has its own wide syllabus, it will not going to be easy to accomplish both task together. If your college is good, then focus on your academic and learn skills to get future ready. If it is not you can dream and dare to get an IIT for higher studies. It will be a wise decision.
