Hi,
UIT Burdwan used to be a very good college from 2000 to 2014. After that, the quality has degraded. The placement is maximum for CSE students but in that also, only 50% students get placed. The placement for electrical engineering is also poor. But you will get good internship opportunities in the government sector.

If you are a hardworking guy and want a good campus like NIT and just for few marks you missed it then you can join HIT. You will get good faculty as well as facilities here.

Hi Jyoti,
It will be helpful as it's the last chance to get a college after the 3rd round. Mop round is basically the spot round. It will be held after successful completion of 3 rounds of e-counselling in WBJEE 2018. The vacant seats left behind will then be filled up through mop round.
Thanks.

No, once your documents are verified you don't need to visit the counseling centre again. After 3rd counseling, visit the college you have got in the 3rd counseling with all the relevant documents.

FIEM, Sonepur is a good private college in south 24 paragons in the vicinity of Kolkata. The placement is good for mainly computer science engineering, electronic communications engineering and information technology. Mechanical won't be that good from that college. I will suggest you to take Haldia Institute of Technology for mechanical.
