WBJEE is a state level exam for which if someone has studied the whole year then in the last month, touch up can really help a student to score good marks.
Here are few tips to score good marks in WBJEE:
1. Check the syllabus and see how many portions are complete or not. If some are not complete and you know about that topic then try to complete it.
2. Solving previous year's questions is mandatory in the last month of preparation for any exam. It will give you a rough idea about the type of questions which will come in the exam.
3. Managing time is one of the most important factors that would have a bearing on your score. Take as many online mock tests (or in your coaching class) as possible to master the exam time.
4. Preparing for WBJEE involves a study of a vast variety of topics in each subject. Hence, it is critical that you revise a topic multiple times so that your brain's recall power is optimum on exam day.
5. You must be aware of the fact that WBJEE has negative marking for wrong answers. So, stay away from guesswork and attempt only those questions if you're 100% confident as negative marking can drastically affect your score.

West Bengal appears to be the only state not insisting on domicile certificate for taking WBJEE. The official announcement has been made and full information is available on its website. However for benefit of students I will state few important facts.The WBJEE will be conducted n 22 Apr 2018. It will be in Pen and Paper mode only. There will be two papers. One for maths and other for Chemistry + Physics. Both papers will be two hours duration. Any citizen of India can appear. He/she should be of minimum age of 17 years. There is no upper limit. Exam will be conducted in 44 cities spread across West Bengal, Assam and Tripura. If one sees this, it's clear that student outside West Bengal can surely appear and get admission in any of the 104 participating institutions across West Bengal.To conclude, I will say that any Indian citizen of 17 years or more can appear for this exam of course with restrictions of marks for general and reserve category students of 45% and 40% respectively along with need to score at least 30% in English.

It's a nice query to ask. Almost students who want to pursue engineering are faced with this issue. But I would advise you not to worry. What needs to be done, one has to simply do it. Having said this, I want to allay your fears. If you are preparing for JEE then you need not prepare separately for WBJEE. Having said this, it does not mean that you can just relax. There are still some things that you must do to score good marks in WBJEE.WB Government has already issued notification for exam that is to be conducted on 22 April 2018. It will have two papers of two hours duration each. Paper 1 will be of maths and Paper 2 will be of Chemistry and Physics. Exam will be conducted only in Pen and Paper mode. These were the mundane statistics. Now I will come to nuances that you must remember or prepare for. Taking mock test every week after few months of study will go a long way in preparing you for exam. Here you will realise difference in the exam pattern. If possible then I would advise you to take some coaching for solving exams. Coaching classes have well developed skills of tricks of how to answer in shortest possible time! This goes a long way in helping students attack max questions which in turn helps in getting more marks.In conclusion, I would advise students that separate preparation is not required for WBJEE if one is studying for JEE also. Only practice of solving mock papers is required to be studied separately.

Now, the guidelines one should follow to crack WBJEE are:
Go through the entire theory portion and no part of the theory should be skipped from your mind especially from chemistry's inorganic part.
Secondly, don't let any distraction element interfere in your life because the one year may be worth the whole life.
Third, constantly focus on the previous year papers and you should be aware about the syllabus of the exam. For that, go through the website or manual of the respective exam.
For excellence in maths and physics, more the practice more the confidence is generated. Don't try to cover the whole theory by reading but practice as many questions as possible for that.
And last, have a study of atleast 6 hours and more daily.

WBJEE is predominantly a test that tests a candidate for speed. The questions are generally based on a single concept and are not so complex. Hence, you need not go to deeper levels of theory to ace this test. If one is preparing diligently for JEE then the same prep can be easily translated for WBJEE. The single most important resource I would recommend would be the previous year questions. Arihant publications has a booklet that has solved the past 15 years of the WBJEE. This may come in handy to fine tune your preparation.
Other books that can be referred are-
Physics- NCERT textbooks of classes 11 and 12, Pradeep publication and HC Verma
Maths- RD Sharma objective book, you can also refer RS Aggarwal
Chemistry- NCERT for physical chemistry, OP Tandon for inorganic and Arihant for organic chemistry.
NCERT textbooks should be your Bibles to ace this test and the test doesn't expect a student to apply multiple concepts in a single question.
Focus on time and pick the questions from your areas of strength and you shall be good to go!
