If you want to pursue B.Tech, you should try national engineering entrance exam (JEE main, advance) or state universities exams (like UPSEE). Apart from this, you can also try to get admission in some private colleges like SRM, AMITY, and VITEEE etc. All the Best.

Well, Jadavpur University is the best college under WBJEE. Not only that, it is no. 9 engineering college in India according to MHRD Ranking. After Jadavpur University, the best government engineering college is Kalyani Government Engineering College. It's CSE and Mechanical department is superb. It's opening and closing rank for every stream is very low. From KGEC, many meritorious students are selected in GATE GRE CAT etc. So, according to me, KGEC is the best government engineering college under WBJEE just after Jadavpur University.
