Rank can not be predicted because it will depend on the exam appeared by the candidate and on the difficulty level of questions.

I can tell you what happened in 2016.The closing rank for the 3rd-round of counseling for CSE was 195. The 4th-round or open counseling was around 250 I guess. Last year, the mathematics paper was a bit different from the previous years' WBJEE papers. You yourself will see it because by now you would've gone through the previous years' papers. My assessment was that the paper was full of questions of previous years' IITJEE. So, if you have IITJEE level preparation, you can surely score high. My score was around 100-110 for the sum total of all the 3 papers and got a rank of 765. So, prepare well and you might end up in JU.

If you want a rank under 5000, you need to score around 80 -90 in WBJEE.
