Yes, the application process for BTech courses through WBJEE and AUAT is different. In case candidates are applying for the course through WBJEE, they are required to appear for the WBJEE counselling process and select Aliah University as their preferred choice. Moreover, while applying through AUAT, candidates must qualify for the basic eligibility criteria according to BTech specialisation and register for the course and entrance examination through the official website of the university. When I was looking for an engineering college, I wanted a place that had good placements, industry exposure, and modern infrastructure. After researching multiple options, I found that Chandigarh University checked all the boxes. It offers over 30 specializations in engineering, including trending fields like AI, Cybersecurity, and Aerospace.

A WBJEE ranking at position 964 provides an excellent opportunity to study Electrical Engineering at Jadavpur University (JU). JU functions as a prestigious educational institution which features Electrical Engineering as one of its most preferred branches. Electrical Engineering branches at KGEC and JGEC have similar educational quality to Jadavpur University but their CSE cutoff rankings are likely to be higher. The Electrical Engineering branch at JU presents a secure academic choice for you considering your rank because it costs INR 2,400 per year.

Your position with a GMR rank of 41,636 and SC rank of 4,321 in WBJEE gives you an excellent opportunity at securing admission to CSE or IT branch government colleges. The 4,321 SC rank places you in position to seek enrollment at Jadavpur University which sets its cutoff at 5,000-6,000 for SC students. The cut-off scores for Kalyani Government Engineering College accept students in the SC category from ranges 7,000-8,000. Yearly variations exist in the cutoff ranks used for admission.
