Yes, you can take the WBJEE if you are in 12th with subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The eligibility criteria for agriculture and medical courses differ:
-Agriculture: You can appear for the WBJEE for agricultural engineering and related disciplines as long as you conform to the applicable eligibility requirements, subject combinations (PCB).
-Medical :- Medical courses like MBBS, BDS, or BAMS do not come under WBJEE. These courses generally fall under NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).

Yes, you can get admission to the B.E./B.Tech course at SKF (Supreme Knowledge Foundation) without WBJEE, as they may consider alternative admission methods. While WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) is the primary exam for engineering admissions in many colleges in West Bengal, SKF also offers direct admission based on Class 12 marks or JEE Main scores.

The result date for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2025 is June 2025. The WBJEE 2025 registrations are open now for the BTech and BPharm courses, and the deadline is Feb 23, 2025. Further, the date of the WBJEE 2025 exam is scheduled for Apr 27, 2025. These deadlines stay the same for all the institutes.

GCELT Salt Lake City Kolkata accepts WBJEE scores for admission to its BE/BTech courses. To get into the BTech course, the maximum cutoff rank required for admission was 19667 for the students belonging to the General Home State quota. The cutoff ranks vary by rounds, specialisations, categories and quotas.

University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata accepts WBJEE scores for admission to its BE/BTech courses. The WBJEE cutoff 2024 was concluded after the round 3 seat allotment result, wherein the last-round cutoff ranged between 8796 and 68436 for the General All India category students. Academy of Technology Ahmednagar cutoff 2024 for BTech programmes is based on WBJEE. Considering the AOT WBJEE cutoff 2024, the closing ranks varied from 20083 to 106063 for the General AI category candiates. Specially for the BTech in Electrical Engineering course, the closing rank was 91727. As you can see, the required rank should come under the released range of BTech cutoffs and BTech in EE can be accessible at a cutoff rank of 90000. So, yes, candidates can go for Electrical Engineering at 90000 rank in 2024.

Yes, you can get admission to Bengal College of Engineering and Technology B.E. / B.Tech without the WBJEE exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12th in a relevant stream. Eligible candidates will also have to appear for the JEE Main exam (if not appearing for the WBJEE exam) and score valid marks to secure admission to the course.

Yes, you can directly get admission to the B.E./B.Tech courses in Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology and Management (DIATM) without WBJEE. Along with WBJEE, DIATM takes admissions also on the JEE Main score. A candidate having a valid JEE Main rank can apply for admission. The other mode of admission can be sought through the management quota where candidates can have direct entry into the college. However, as mentioned above, the following conditions, including a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2, have to be met for admission in the B.Tech program
