After the seats are allotted during the WBJEE JECA process, the candidates will have to verify their documents to confirm their admission. Candidates are advised to bring their original documents along with a set of photocopies. All of the mentioned documents have to be verified before the final date, otherwise the allotment will be cancelled. Two rounds of counselling will be conducted by the authorities.

During the WBJEE JECA counselling, the candidates will be allotted seats as per their preferences, ranks, category and seat availability. WBJEE JECA seat allotment result will be announced online.

WBJEE JECA 2025 seat allotment dates have not been announced. Candidates will be able to check their WBJEE JECA seat allotment result online at wbjeeb.nic.in/jeca. No other mode will be used to declare the seat allotment result. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences, category and seat availability. Separate seat allotment results will be declared for the different rounds of WBJEE JECA counselling.

The general category cutoff rank for GNIPST in WBJEE 2023 was 137974. This implies that any student who has achieved a rank of 137974 or lower can get into the Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (GNIPST). The cutoff is different for students belonging to different categories.

Some government colleges near Durgapur (WB) for a pharmacy course that offers admission on the basis of WBJEE are:

- Bengal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research this B.Pharm. College is situated in Durgapur, takes admission through WBJEE.

- Dr. B.C. Roy College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences: This college is also located at Durgapur, offering B.Pharm courses as well & taking admissions via WBJEE.

UEM Kolkata cutoff 2024 has been released for WBJEE on the basis of which admission to the BE/ BTech courses take place. As per the WBJEE Round 3 cutoff 2024, the closing rank ranged between 8796 and 68436 for the stdudents belonging to the General category under the AI quota. Among all the BTech specilisations, Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive course at UEM Kolkata with a closing rank of 8796.
