The West Bengal Residential/Domicile prerequisite is likewise appropriate for any seat under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme. Every state have some quota for other state students. So you will not face any problem in admission through WBJEE in B.Tech courses if applied through other state quota.

It completely depends on you, but as per my suggestion you should not drop a year for any exam whatsoever. There are plenty of colleges available around the country. I would rather suggest you to fill the forms and attempt all the exams of all state JEEs and also the private college exams. You will definitely get a good score and get a course of your choice. All the best.

WBJEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
1- Nationality: The student must be an Indian citizen
2- Age restriction: Students must be at least 17 years of age (as of December 31, 2023) to appear for the exam or be born on or before December 31, 2007. There is no upper age limit for appearing in the exam.
