I think you are asking about engineering colleges, recently some drop in placement was observed even in very good colleges so do not bother about placements, if you study hard you will defenitely get good opportunities after completing your graduation

Most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.
However, we can help you with the parameters that you can keep in mind while choosing an institute. You can consider the below parameters :-

2) Affiliation / Recognition
3) Course Material,
4) Quality Education,
5) Fees
6) Infrastructure
7) Success Rate.
8) Placement
9) Top recruiting companies.
Also, if possible go through the alumni speak section to get an idea what the alumni thinks about the institute.

Don't compare education state-wise and don't go on saying of different people, because everyone have there own experiences , choose course based on college level and trust genuine sources for advice
