You need to specify your course of interest(specialization) in which you are interested. However there are some private colleges with impressive records of placement and overall ranking. If you belong to ST-SC category, you'll easily get into NIT Durgapur. OBC if you are, then also there's a great chance of you getting NIT-D. I don't know whether you'll get it if you're a general category student.
